Different offices answer different questions:
- For an arrest report or booking-photo request, use the Sheriff's records service and the full steps on the home page.
- For current hosted custody and an intake image, check the official Kiowa County roster linked from the jail-roster section, then call to confirm.
- For a possible warrant, contact the Sheriff or follow the safe warrant verification route. The District Court clerk is at 201 South New York, PO Box 722, Coldwater, KS 67029, phone 620-582-2182.
- For the case outcome, use Kansas District Court Records or the local clerk. A roster is not a disposition record.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Kansas Department of Corrections KASPER offender search. Kansas VINE handles participating county-jail custody notices.
- For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE locator. Neither system replaces local jail confirmation.
No local booking-photo fee is posted. Kansas open-records law allows reasonable actual costs and possible prepayment. The agency must respond or act by the end of the third business day, but that is not a promise that production will be complete by then.
